If you want to break it down into technical terms, I am a Director-Operator-Editor.
On set, I direct productions from behind the camera. When we wrap on set, I continue to steer the production from behind the computer, until we have a powerful finished product that turns heads.
OK, maybe I'm a sound guy too.
I find it helps immerse me in the scene to hear the audio feeds being captured. It increases my awareness of the dialogue and storyline, and helps me understand the mood of my surroundings. Because of this, I typically run location sound myself on all my productions rather than hiring a separate sound guy. I am capable of managing up to 10 LAV microphones, while simultaneously switching between operating the A-camera and piloting the drone. Not only does this result in incredibly rich attention to storyline detail, but it also saves my clients money by reducing the crew size.
But mainly I'm a vibe-setter / story-teller.
In my opinion, post production is where the real magic happens. You can have a killer production crew and capture amazing footage, but if you hand that footage off to a weak editor... we've all seen what can happen.
I have over a decade of post production experience, and have a unique ability to set the tone of a story through my editing decisions. In fact, the primary feedback I receive from my clients is that "the vibes" I create in my productions are "spot on" and "exactly what they were going for." I am able to achieve this result consistently, through my great appreciation for timing, tone, and mood.
When I shoot, I have the edit in mind. I capture establishing shots, detail shots, and I make sure I am capturing full scenes from start to finish, then when I get into post production, I begin to pay extremely close attention to how those scenes make me feel - excited, happy, relieved, tense, nervous, laid back, carefree, and so on. I spend as much time as it takes to curate the perfect soundtrack to set those moods. Once I have the perfect soundtrack, I lay down my storyline to the tempo and structure provided by my soundtrack. As a result, my products are engaging, emotional, moody and paced to perfectly keep your attention from start to finish.
The best part? You just have to call one person to make it all happen. How simple is that?
As a director, I conceptualize and guide projects from initial vision through final delivery, with particular expertise in outdoor TV, documentary, and music video content.

As a cinematographer, I handle all aspects of visual storytelling - from lighting design and camera operation to aerial drone work, creating cinematic, impactful imagery that serves the story.

As a location sound recordist, I handle all aspects of audio capture - from dialogue recording and ambient sound, delivering the crisp, professional audio quality.

As an editor, I have a knack for compelling and authentic storytelling, especially with complex and large-scale projects such as docuseries, documentaries and unscpripted TV content.
As a sound mixer, I handle all aspects of audio post-production - from dialogue cleanup and music balancing to sound effects and final mix, creating clean, professional audio that your audiences will appreciate.
As a colorist, I handle all aspects of color correction and grading - from exposure fixes and color matching, to creative looks, ensuring your visuals have that professional, cinematic feel."

This is what a typical viewership retention graph looks like on YouTube for Duck Camp Dinners, an outdoor hunting and cooking series that I direct, shoot and edit.
At the 30 second mark, over 75% of viewers are still watching, and will continue to watch for 20 minutes or longer. My work catches their attention and viewers consider it a worthwhile use of their time.
The videos I produce experience very little viewership drop-off. This can be attributed to a number of things, but undoubtedly, strong storytelling, camera work and editing play a significant role in this outcome.
